Consolidated shipping is the process of combining several parcels into one shipment and sending it to the United States, and once on the territory of the United States the consolidation is broken down and each parcel goes to its recipient. As a result, the final cost of shipping for each individual parcel is significantly lower than if each were sent separately.
Western Bid has been using this logistics model for many years and has its own warehouse in Miami, where all consolidated shipments are processed. After arrival in the United States, each parcel is processed and shipped individually – directly to your customer.
Delivery takes place in two stages:
Origin country → USA (Miami) → customer
The feature of Direct Consolidation is that you independently consolidate your own shipments into a batch yourself and can send the assembled parcel in any method convenient for you from any country, except countries under sanctions.

Required information before sending
1. Please specify the correct weight and dimensions. Measurements must be taken on the packaging at the most protruding points. When checking a package in Miami, if the weight or dimensions are indicated with understatement, or substantial discrepancies are found, one of two options awaits such a shipment:
– shipment to Ukraine via Nova Poshta Shopping to the branch specified by the sender;
– a penalty and creation of a new label for forwarding within the USA.
2. Pack the parcel well, seal the corners and firmly attach the label. For more information about packing parcels for consolidations read in our article.
Note: to have your shipments scanned faster and not require manual handling by postal staff (and thus arrive faster to your customers and not require extra charges for their processing), please follow the simple postal service packaging requirements:
- Do not wrap consolidation shipments with film, stretch film, or kraft paper (you may wrap protective film only around the product inside the parcel).
- Do not fully seal the parcel with tape.
- Replace cylinders with square or triangular packaging.
Postal service rules permit:
- to send a courier parcel and seal it with tape in several places (but not completely!);
- wrap the parcel with tape only in several places so that the parcel retains its shape;
- wrap the goods inside the cardboard box with film / bag;
- place the cardboard boxes into a courier bag.
3. You must print the barcode and affix it to each package. The label will be affixed to the parcel at our Miami warehouse. The tracking number will be available in your Personal Account immediately after the delivery is arranged. You can print the barcode at any time in your Western Bid account after arranging the delivery.
4. The declared value of goods in a single shipment must not exceed $800 per day per person.
5. Be sure to include in each consolidated box a list of the parcels contained in it.
6. Please note that when shipping, you must provide only truthful and complete information about the cargo, to avoid delays in processing. If incorrect information about the contents is provided, your package will be detained at customs, and you will bear full responsibility for violation of customs law. All shipments are scanned and cross-checked with the list of goods indicated on the invoice. You also bear responsibility for warning your customers about possible customs duties upon receiving the parcel. In case of loss of the parcel, insurance payouts are made according to the declared value of the contents.
7. If you created a shipment by mistake, or provided incorrect shipping information, please do not send the package. You can manually cancel the created label. Details on how to do this are here.

What documents are required for shipment?
– generate in the Western Bid personal account the barcodes for items intended for shipment, print them and affix them to each parcel;
– place the barcode-labeled parcels into a common box, be sure to include with it a printed description of all enclosures and pack it in accordance with parcel packing rules for consolidations. On top of the box, mark with a black marker the label “Direct“;
– measure the dimensions and weight of the outer box and prepare the shipping documents for sending the parcel with any carrier convenient for you.
Upon completion of the processing you will be provided with a package of shipping documents, depending on the carrier you have chosen. This package of documents must be affixed to the outer box and sent to our warehouse in Miami.

From Ukraine, a Direct shipment can be sent by Nova Poshta (creating External goods), Ukrposhta from the Ukrposhta cabinet, or via UPS Express delivery (information about UPS Express delivery can be read by our clients in their personal account).
To send Direct Consolidations via UPS or FedEx, first print labels from Miami (codes begin with “CPG”) and affix them to each of the parcels placed into the consolidation. Pack the parcels into a single consolidation box, seal the box, and attach the Direct label to it (code begins with “CDS”).

Yes, there are items that are prohibited from being sent abroad. Parcels with such contents may be confiscated by customs authorities or returned to the sender at their expense. Please review the list of items prohibited for shipment.
Please note that at the moment the logistics of delivering international UPS Economy DDU shipments are structured in such a way that tracking begins only from the moment they arrive at the international hub in New York, where they are physically scanned by UPS (approximately 3-4 days after the package is sent from the Miami warehouse). At this stage the shipment is assigned an alternative number, which provides more detailed information about the shipment’s movement after dispatch from within the United States. This number is available on the UPS website in the ‘View Details’ – ‘Shipment Details’ section. To obtain information using the alternative number, you can use the service https://t.17track.net/ or another resource for tracking mail within the buyer’s country.
How to arrange a Direct Consolidation shipment: step-by-step instructions
- Log in to your Western Bid account and generate barcodes for all the items you plan to send.
- Print the barcodes and affix them to every individual parcel.
- Place all marked parcels into one common box, include a printed list of contents inside, and mark the box with the word ‘Direct’
- Carefully measure the weight and dimensions of the box at the most protruding points to avoid discrepancies during inspection in Miami.
- Process the shipment documents for the consolidated box with any convenient carrier from Ukraine or Europe to Western Bid’s Miami warehouse.
- After arriving in Miami, the parcels will be distributed and sent to your customers by USPS or UPS.
