How to calculate the cost of using Western Bid fulfillment
To accurately estimate fulfillment expenses, it is enough to consider three main components:
1 – Shipping a batch to our warehouse in the USA
You can ship goods from your country directly to our fulfillment center. To optimize shipping costs, pay attention to a few details:
- The size of the box or pallet directly affects the price. Choose the most optimal format — sometimes even a few centimeters in height can reduce the shipping cost by tens of dollars.
- Shipping goods from Ukraine through Western Bid is more cost-effective: logistics to our Fulfillment Center always costs less than direct delivery to the end customer.
- Use the Western Bid online calculator . In your account, select the “delivery to FC” option to see the exact transportation cost.
2 – Cost of storing products
The first 30 days of storage are free. After that, the cost depends on the weight of each product unit.
Detailed rates are available in the “Product storage rates at the warehouse in the USA (2026)” section.
3 – Delivery from the Fulfillment Center to the customer or Amazon FBA
After goods arrive at the Western Bid warehouse, we take over the full logistics cycle — from packaging to delivering your order to a customer anywhere in the world.
We ship not only within the USA, but also to Canada, Europe, and other countries.
- If you did not send the goods already packed, you can purchase the necessary packaging directly at our fulfillment center — from standard boxes to branded options.
To accurately calculate packaging and delivery costs, use the Western Bid online calculator .
Warehousing storage rates in the USA (2026)
The first 30 days of product storage are free.
After that, the fee is charged monthly based on the number of units of the product that remain in stock at the time of calculation.
For example: if a batch had 50 units, and 30 were sold within a month — payment is charged only for the 20 units that remain in stock.

Long-term storage of goods
From 1 September 2026, goods stored at Fulfillment Center Western Bid for more than 180 days are subject to increasing coefficients applied to the base storage cost.
| Storage period | Coefficient |
|---|---|
| up to 180 days inclusive | ×1 |
| 181–365 days | ×2 |
| 366–549 days | ×4 |
| 550–731 days | ×6 |
| 732–915 days | ×8 |
| 916–1095 days | ×12 |
| from 1096 days | ×15 |
The cost of long-term storage is calculated using the formula:
base storage cost × the applicable coefficient.
The storage period is counted from the date the goods actually arrive at the warehouse. If the goods arrived at the warehouse in separate batches, the storage period and the applicable coefficient are calculated separately for each batch.
The new rules also apply to goods already in the warehouse at the moment the rules come into force. For such goods, the actual storage period is counted from the date the corresponding batch arrived at the warehouse.
Storage is charged for the next 30 days. At each charge, the coefficient in force on the charge date is applied, and the cost of the next 30 days is calculated using it.
If the move to the next rate level happens within the 30 days already paid for, the cost of that period is not recalculated. The new coefficient is applied at the next charge.
Example: if on the date of the next charge the goods have been stored for 175 days, the ×1 coefficient is applied and the cost of the next 30 days is calculated using it. The fact that the 181st day of storage falls within this period does not change the amount already charged. The ×2 coefficient will be applied at the next charge.
30 days before goods move to the next rate level, the client receives an automatic notification.
Batch preparation rates
Labelling of each unit of goods — $0.25 per item.
Repacking of each unit of goods (or packing of sets) — $0.75 per item (or set) + the cost of the packaging used (bags, bubble mailers, boxes for each unit of goods or each set).
Warehouse fee for shipping a parcel
The fee is charged at the moment the parcel is created for shipment.
The rate covers up to 2 items in the order. For each additional unit of goods, $0.25 is added.
| Parcel weight | Warehouse fee |
|---|---|
| до 0.5 kg | $2.00 |
| 0.501–1.000 kg | $2.50 |
| 1.001–2.000 kg | $3.00 |
| 2.001–4.500 kg | $4.00 |
| 4.501–6.000 kg | $5.00 |
| 6.001–10.000 kg | $6.00 |
| over 10.000 kg | $7.00 |
Cost of packaging and shipping from the Fulfillment Center
When a manual shipment is created, the system charges the cost of the large box the goods are packed into, + the Fulfillment Center fee according to the weight of the final box, from $2 to $7, + $0.25 for each unit of goods after the second one — the same as for a regular shipment from the Fulfillment Center.
Additional charge for a third-party label
If you provide your own shipping label instead of buying delivery through your Western Bid account — for example, a label purchased on Amazon — an additional $2 per shipping label is charged.
