Western Bid may temporarily delay or cancel a withdrawal request if there are signs of risk or possible violation of the Terms of Service in the client’s trading activity.
These situations may include: lack of tracking numbers, open complaints or disputes, selling goods not supported by Western Bid, unusually large payments, an insufficient number of positive reviews, or other circumstances that require further verification.
Western Bid is a trading intermediary agency and participates in the purchase and sale process. Therefore the company is responsible to buyers and has the right to verify whether the goods were shipped on time, whether they match the description, and whether the seller has proof of shipment.
Having one of the reasons listed below does not always mean automatic cancellation of the request. However, in such cases Western Bid managers may postpone the execution of the request or cancel it until the reason is resolved.
The most common reasons for delay or cancellation of a request
Problems with parcel tracking
| Reason | What this means | What the seller should do |
|---|---|---|
| There are no tracking numbers in the transactions | In the transactions attached to the withdrawal request, no tracking numbers for shipments are provided. | Add correct tracking numbers to all required transactions and submit the withdrawal request again. |
| Tracking numbers are not yet being tracked | The tracking numbers are provided, but the shipments have not yet appeared in the destination country’s postal system. | Wait until tracking starts appearing on the postal service’s website, and submit the request again. |
| Tracking numbers cannot be verified | The Western Bid managers cannot locate the shipment using the specified numbers. | Send the tracking link or other shipping confirmations to Customer Support, then create a new request. The information can be left in the comments field of the withdrawal request. |
Complaints, disputes and reviews
| Reason | What does it mean | What the seller should do |
|---|---|---|
| Several complaints or disputes have been opened | There are active buyer claims on the account with PayPal, Stripe, or on marketplaces. | Resolve the active complaints, wait for their number to decrease, and then resubmit the request. |
| There has been an increase in complaints about the item not matching the description | Customers are more often complaining that the received item does not match the description on the marketplace. | Within 30 days, withdraw funds only for transactions for which buyers have already left positive feedback. |
| There are negative reviews | One or more negative reviews have appeared on the marketplace. | Resolve problematic situations with customers, obtain new positive reviews, and resubmit the request. |
Goods, lots and sale confirmations
| Reason | What this means | What the seller should do |
|---|---|---|
| Items that are not supported for sale | There are items among the listings in the store that do not comply with Western Bid’s Terms of Service. | Remove such items from the marketplaces and create a new request after the violation has been resolved. |
| No active listings | There are no items listed for sale on the marketplaces, which may look like a suspension of operations. | Contact Support through your Personal Cabinet and explain the reason for the absence of active listings. |
| No explanations for payments | Managers lack information about which specific items the funds were for. | Send through Support a link to listings, invoices, or other documents that confirm the sale. |
| An unusually large payment has been received | The payment amount significantly exceeds the usual average value of your goods. | Provide the tracking number, wait for the item to be delivered to the buyer, and then submit the request again. |
Financial and accounting constraints
| Reason | What it means | What the seller should do |
|---|---|---|
| The requested amount exceeds the non-withdrawable balance | A minimum balance has been set on the account that must remain in the Western Bid balance. | Create a new withdrawal request taking into account the non-withdrawable balance amount. |
Why does Western Bid check such requests?
The buyer may file a complaint or request a refund within the period set by the payment system or the marketplace. If the goods have not yet been delivered, the tracking number is not trackable or there are other risk indicators on the account, the payout of funds may pose a financial risk for Western Bid.
That is why the company may additionally review certain transactions before withdrawing funds.
What to do if the request was canceled?
If your withdrawal request has been canceled, check the reason for the cancellation in your Personal Account or in the message from the Support team.
After addressing the reason, create a new withdrawal request.
If the reason is unclear, contact Support via your Western Bid Personal Account or call Support and provide the request or transaction number.
