Materials suitable for personalization:

Organic materials: wood of any species (including plywood and MDF), bamboo, cardboard, paper, natural and synthetic leather, fabric, cork (cork).
Non-metals: acrylics of all colors, plastics (except PVC), stone, slate.
You can send goods to our Fulfillment warehouse in the USA and use laser engraving services from any country on the service list.
Premium monochrome printing
A new service from our team — Premium monochrome printing.
This is high-quality black-and-white printing with flawless fill, even on large black areas. We use professional equipment Xerox, which provides sharp detail, rich shadows, and smooth transitions of gray tones.
This printing is ideal for:
- stickers, labels, logos;
- templates, markings, diagrams, instructions.

Rate: 0.070$ per cm²
Calculation: 2.5$ + (50 cm² × 0.070$) = 2.5$ + 3.5$ = 6.00$

Calculation: 2.5$ + (150 cm² × 0.040$) = 2.5$ + 6.0$ = 8.50$

How to prepare a layout for laser engraving
Allowed file formats:
- SVG
- DXF
- PNG (high quality, no less than 300 dpi)
- AI (Adobe Illustrator)
Layout requirements
- All elements of the layout must be placed on separate layers (text, graphics, cut lines, etc.) and clearly labeled.
- Be sure to add a separate layer with the markup (outline — product contour or engraving area) to precisely determine the placement. This layer must be clearly marked.
- If using color-coding — indicate what each color means (for example, red — cut, black — engraving).
- Texts should be converted to outlines or include the font files used.
- Images: we prefer vector graphics. If using PNG — it should be crisp and high-contrast.

- offsets from the edges
- layout orientation

Engraving layout preparation checklist
- Save the layout in SVG, DXF, PNG (300 dpi+) or AI format.
- Separate text, graphics, cutting lines, and the product outline into separate layers with labels.
- Add a layer for the product outline or engraving area and clearly mark it.
- Assign different operations (cutting and engraving) to colors and describe what each color means.
- Convert text to outlines or attach font files.
- If precise placement is important, add a visualization on the product and specify dimensions, margins, and orientation.
How to order engraving through the Western Bid account
You can order product personalization for your customer during the process of creating a shipment request from our Fulfillment Center.
- In the menu section “Send to the customer” you will see a list of your product batches that are stored in the Miami warehouse or expected soon.
2. Select the items to be shipped to the customer. In the next step, select the customer’s address from the list of transactions.
3. If the payment for the item was made not through Western Bid, first create External item with the recipient’s address (or upload several at once as a list), and then select this External item from the transaction list.
4. Select the quantity of items and click the button “Send to customer”.
5. In the window that opens, select the transactions from the list and click “Continue”.
6. In the field “Comment for FC staff” please indicate that laser engraving is required.
7. Then choose the shipping method for the package from the warehouse in Miami to your customer. After clicking the button “Calculate” the system will show:
- delivery cost,
- packaging cost (if you want us to select packaging according to the type of your item),
- warehouse commission.
8. If you are satisfied with the price — click “Create a shipment request”. The system will prompt you to confirm all the details. Review the information and confirm the request.
9. After creating the shipment request, go to the menu “Shipment requests” and in the field of the corresponding request click “Create a ticket”.
10. In the window that appears, upload image mockup (a single image, a general representation of the layout or visualization of what should be on the finished product, in JPEG or TIFF format) that needs to be applied to the product, and specify the positioning parameters according to the instructions. The layout files themselves, in SVG format, for creating the personalization, please send to us at design@westernbid.us, indicating in the subject line the shipment request number.
11. Our staff will package the product, affix the label, and ship it to the customer within 1–2 business days.
Engraving order checklist via the account
- In the ‘Ship to Customer’ menu, select items from batches in Miami stock.
- Select the customer’s address from the transactions or create an ‘External item’ if the payment was not through Western Bid.
- Specify the quantity of items and click ‘Ship to Customer’.
- In the order placement step, in the ‘Comment for FC staff’ field, indicate that laser engraving is required.
- Combine the shipping method, review the shipping cost, packaging, and warehouse fees, and click ‘Create shipping request’.
- Go to the ‘Shipping Requests’ menu and click ‘Create ticket’ for the corresponding request.
- Upload a layout preview (JPEG or TIFF) to the ticket and send the files in SVG/other technical formats to design@westernbid.us with the request number in the subject.

After approval — use the personalization services for your orders on Etsy, Shopify, Amazon and other sites, and, after receiving an order, immediately proceed to submit a request through your account.
