The list of centers for obtaining permits is <a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/z0529-17#Text\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mkip.gov.ua\/content\/kontakti.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For shipments of goods that require undergoing a <strong>gemological examination<\/strong> (items made of stone and precious metals), you must perform the examination yourself and attach externally to the parcel the documents proving the examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u200dIf the stones are uncut or in the form of sand, please bring or send them only in a box sealed by a gemologist.<\/p>\n<p>If there is no certified State Gemological Center of Ukraine expert in your region, you should contact the State Gemological Center of Ukraine and clarify the possibility of conducting the examination of the item sent by mail. If in a particular case this is not possible for one reason or another, you will need to personally travel to the nearest State Gemological Center of Ukraine to obtain the permit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1845493 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1845493\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">When is an expert assessment required?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a49b43e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a49b43e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol role=\"list\" start=\"\"><li>For items made from natural stones, gemological expertise is required. If the stones are not natural (such as zircon, glass, ceramics, or plastic stone imitations), then expertise is not required.<\/li><li>For art objects such as paintings (oil on canvas) and sculptures (plaster, metal), a permit from the Ministry of Culture is required. For plastic figurines and toys, for industrially produced items, as well as for posters and prints of paintings, a permit is not required.<\/li><li>For oil portraits on canvas from a photograph, you must attach to the usual shipping documents a printed listing (lot) with the sale price, as well as a copy of the photograph of the person who was painted. In this case, no other permits are required.<\/li><li>For watercolors, pencil sketches, caricatures, and for works in gouache or other paints on paper, wood, or other surfaces (excluding canvas), gemological expertise is also required.<\/li><li>Amber products or unprocessed amber are prohibited.<\/li><li>If the item is made of metal and there is a receipt, it is sufficient to include this receipt; expertise is not required.<\/li><li>If the item is handmade of metal (no receipt) \u2013 expertise is required.
